Hi,

Following halloween where everything was working I have been working on my Xmas display. All well and good and all working until yesterday.

I honestly do not know of anything i have done differently, but i came to do a final test today and my pixel controller is not recognised at all, even though it has worked fine up until now.

I set the controllers Ip to 192.168.1.200 and when i ping that i get

on the controller i have the red flashing power light, the ethernet port has a static orange and a flashing green.

checking syncrolight device manager the controller has not shown up

Is there any way i can test everything to narrow down the fault here (e.g. connecting the ethernet direct - but what are the next steps?)

i tried changing the computer IP to 192.168.1.250 (subnet prefix 24, gateway 192.168.168.100 and dns of 8.8.8.8 and 4.2.2.1) but that made no difference

Any help on what diagnostics i need would be welcome. It is though it is not connected at all and the computer cannot find it.

Is it possible to set the brightness of pixels, ideally on the controller so they don't go about a set brightness? Have it running now but it's very btlright and can't see a way to change that when using pixel effects.

I've been running shows for a few evenings, yesterday and today Show Player has just closed by itself and left random pixels on.  Just wondered if anyone else has encountered this / knows of a fix?
Running on Windows 10.

Received my sl4000 controller today.  First issue I found was no eithernet socket in my laptop so I have plugged it in to my router.  Went to device manager and ethernet and wasn't showing. So did the force network. And found it and accessed the controller.  Went to the ethernet tab to change the IP address and when I click save it comes up something about the sub net being different? Not sure how to sort it. I have managed to get it all working for tonight by changing the IP addresses in my shows configs but when the controller is powered off it loses that addresses. Anyone help? Also doesn't seem to save when I add a name for the controller.

For shows i purchsed last year, is it possible to rebuild these to this years display or do i need to repurchase them?
This years display is much different to last years.

Can someone explain how to set up the Show Player to

Switch Lights on at 1800
Run show at 10 and 40 mins past the hour
Run in built sequences at other times
Turn off lights at 2200

With the settings I have used either the lights go on as soon as powered or they don't come on at all and show never plays

Does anyone share their SyncroLight shows?

I can see that there on Facebook i a lot who is sharing LOR shows, but as I read it they cannot be used in the Show designer software.
Is there any SyncroLight grops like the ones with LOR?

Could be cool if it is possible, it could give a newbie like me some help getting inspiration for my further shows.

I have looked at the offerd shows in the Showbuilder, and this is a great function.

i am trying to use the sp10 show player to run my show i have got all my shows and music on the SD card i have set the sp10 to play continiously but there seems to be a problem in that it will just play the first 4/5 songs then it just sits with the light on but does nothing, when in push button mode it will play every song that is on the card has anyone had this problem if so can you suggest what could be wrong

Just wondered if anyone can help point me in the right direction.
I have one WS2811 strip and it works perfectly - has 3 wires red, green black.

I decided to add another and the one that has been delivered is different. It has red green white and then red black.

i have wired it up as i think it should go, but all i get is red lights (when it should be white) 

Can anyone help with how this should be wired to the Ethernet pixel controller? (which wires go where in the connector?)

So I have built my shows ready for when I get my pixel controller.  Have started to set up show player and I'm getting the attached come up when I add shows, what does it mean and what do I do?
