I am already considering ideas for next year. I have been playing with the idea of having some singng xmas tree faces, which I have seen on some american displays. There is an american co. "HolidayCoro.com" which sells the base boards for these marked out with the bulb positions and channels, for LED bulbs. 
The bulbs per channel they list as follows:-

Channel 1 Tree outline 70 bulbs
Channel 2 Eyes open   70 bulbs (35 each eye)
Channel 3 Eyes closed  20 bulbs (10 each eye)
Channel 4 top lip           18
Channel 5 low lip           30
Channel 6 Bottom lip     35
Channel 7  "O" mouth   26
Channel 8 Mid mouth     35

My question is using a syncrolight 8 channel controller and LED strings how can I get the correct no. of bulbs per channel or do I buy longer strings than I need and just hide the unused ones behind the board.
I see one of the contributors displays on your facebook page has incorproated these faces in his display so I assume it is possible.
I could use addressable RGB lights but I think the cost would be prohibitive ( I want 4 faces each with the above configuration!!) as it is I will have to purchase bit by bit over the next few months.
Just thought I'd ask before I invest in the base boards (are there any UK suppliers you know of? I've tried searching the web but can only find HolidayCoro)

I did build my own singing pumpkin face using the 288 bulb animation pack, but I arranged it so each channel used all 36 bulbs in the string.

Any ideas/solutions appreciated

Is there a way to run the test pattern on more that one controller at a time? 
when i start the test pattern it only runs on the controller i start it.

I may have missed something somewhere but are there any instructions for setting up the app for interactive shows? I have dowloaded the app on my phone and enabled it in show player, but when I click connect on the app it says to check settings, but I can't seem to find an option for settings. Also what do I tell my visitors to do in order to use the App.

Just a quick one. I currently have the standard license, I want to upgrade to the proffesional license. Do I pay the full £69?

My show player crash after 10 or 20 second playing a schedule show...

Any ideas ?

With my improved layout for xmas this year I thought I'd try you new show builder, and have tried the two free shows and very pleased with the results.
I have one item in my display which I have called "Fan", basically it is six strings fanning out from the top, each string has two sets of led lights. On my configurator I had set this a Item = Fan, segments = 6 and each segment with 2 channels. However when I built it in Show Builder (I didn't upload my design) I couldn't see how to add channels to each segment, so instead put 12 segments, this worked fine but I had to change my configurator and visualisation to reflect this. So my question is, is it possible to add more than one channel to a segment in show builder and if so how?

Hi, I posted a thread on the "Halloween Lights" section of the forum with links to videos of my lights. All went really well last night with lots of great comments from "trick or treaters". However I had one issue. I had put all four songs onto showplayer and set the playlist to play continuosly, but the "witch Doctor" song would not play through show player. When I added it to the list the time of the program showed as being increased by the correct amount, when it came time to play that song it skipped to the start (Witch Doctor was the last on the list). Even if I set it to just play that one song it would not play it.  If I closed show player and opened sh0w designer and loaded that song it would play fine.

Any idea why this might be?

Hi,

Sorry for all that questions but the first show is the harder.

I meet a problem with the ethernet controller and ws2812B strip,

The controller works fine and all the parameters are usable on the device discover manager.

But impossible to control the strip, only 3 led flashing alone...before drop everything, i think that i'm wrong but where ?
