wiring negatives
#1
Hi all, I am building a model railway layout and as my 24 channel DC syncrolight controllers lay dormant most of the year i thought they would be great for layout lighting too!

My question is, to minimise wiring in small houses, am I able to connect negatives from different channels together?  ie to run only one neutral wire to a building but separate positives for each channel/room?

Hi,

The negative side is switched by the controller, but the positive is common.
So run one common positive wire and then wire negatives individually to the controller.
