wiring negatives - clivehawees - 04-02-2022 Hi all, I am building a model railway layout and as my 24 channel DC syncrolight controllers lay dormant most of the year i thought they would be great for layout lighting too! My question is, to minimise wiring in small houses, am I able to connect negatives from different channels together? ie to run only one neutral wire to a building but separate positives for each channel/room? Clive RE: wiring negatives - Craig - 04-02-2022 Hi, The negative side is switched by the controller, but the positive is common. So run one common positive wire and then wire negatives individually to the controller. Craig RE: wiring negatives - clivehawees - 04-02-2022 thank you |
