License issues

Hello. I went to download the latest software as its that time of year again and when I went to put in my details for the license which was purchased a few years ago. Its giving me an error saying that this license is only suitable for the older versions and not for the newer ones. 

I went to activate the software offline on the newer version ( AUG 2017 ) as the sept wouldn't let me download. 

Do I have to keep to the older version ?

The licensing for the new version (V3) of software is done on line you do not need to enter your license details.  So you would need to purchase your upgrade online using the same email as you originally used.  If you purchased the software within the last 12 months this will be free otherwise it is discounted.
