24 volt led string

hi there 

i am looking to purchase a few sets of 24v LED strings in a couple of weeks and read somewhere on the forum that these can be cut to size if required

how many LEDS are there between cutting spaces

You can cut the light strings.  If you feel along the wire you can cut were the wires become 2 about every 8 or 10 LED's this varies between light strings.

i forgot to ask do the cables have markins for + and - on them

No they don't you would need to check the + and - with a multi meter.
