dmx programming - mickja - 21-11-2018 hi ive been given some dmx spots and would like to use them in my show, ive purchased the professional licence and made a usb rs485 to dmx plug cable.this is where I need some advice how do you programme the lights to computer and then get the show designer software to work them.sorry total newbie at this dmx stuff thanks mick RE: dmx programming - Craig - 28-11-2018 All our controllers primarily use our own protocol not DMX. The software does however have a DMX interface that can be used. Simply create a network of type DMX on the required USB/Serial device. Be sure to select a baud rate of 250000. (Proffessional licence required) When using the software for a DMX network, the Controller ID is used to indicates the DMX address (The Channel ID is not used for DMX). [attachment=57] |
