Re: SL-4000E stopped working but still lights up.

I have been playing with my SL-4000E and a single pixel string setup via eithernet.
(Meanwhile, - have been building my showpiece)
I setup using the instructions, - obtained IP address etc - all good.
THEN, Yesterday .... somthing changed........ everything stopped working, - thou red lights are on for Power & SD

The NET light on the controller blinks once when switced on, - then remains blank, - and does not show up in Device manager.
I have tried to reconnect, Force Address etc, - and although DM gives a forced address, nothing shows up, - and the NET light stays fully off.

The network plug on the back of the controller constantly blinks green, and has a orange light on all the time.
My switch shows a cable connected to the plug used.
I have tried different cables

The controller does not auto play from the SD card .... have I got a brick?

The last think I did while it was working was click to 'manual control' so I could individually control my test string of pixels from show creator.

Hope you can advise, I am dying to indoor test my creation, - so I can put up outside soon.

Hi. Is it possible, using a splitter cable, to run an additional string of 100 leds from a single channel on the DC08? Is there a max number of strings/leds that can be run off a single controller

new to the site and software 
if you have opened a new show and created the show is there anyway of extending the time if you forget to do it at the beginning 

also if you have changed the length of time to 100 minutes it comes up with not responding and all i can do is shut the program down and reopen it

and one other thing is there a way of merging different shows into one show and is it possible to send the shows to the controller so you dont have to have a laptop connected all the time.
the controller i am currently using is a dc08

wanting to setup a few strings of PXL-2811-3 pixels, and wondering how to wire signal and 12v power & injectors to be weather proof?

The pixel strings come with really short wires, - the signal can be daisy chained together, - so only need 1 long signal wire, plus multiple 12v wires.

any tips or photos much appreciated.

Hi all I'm using the ethernet pixel controller, I have 100 pixels in port 1, 800 in port 2 and 800 in port 3.  I have a separate power supply for ports 2 and 3.  My problem is with port 2, I have 8 strings of 100 for a half megga tree (port 3 is another 8 strings), I seem to have random flickering lights for the first 2 - 3 hundred pixels, where the other ports on have one flickering pixel, I thought it must be a bad connection or cross wire.  I split down to one sting of 50 and all 50 flicker, so it is either coming for the Ethernet board or the first string is faulty. Any other ideas?

ive lost all of my old songs and shows so had to start again this year ive managed to fet a few working but for some reason it wont let the music play to about 4 of my songs has any one had this before as its doing my head in lol

Is there still a bug in the show player. No matter what I try I cannot get the first show to play. It always starts on the second show in the list and the first show always plays last.
