  Ethernet controller
Posted by: Nathanm114 - 14-04-2019, 06:10 PM - Forum: General - Replies (6)

Hello,

I’m trying to connect my computer to the Ethernet controller via a switch but it’s not coming up in the Ethernet device manager.

The controller is set to default settings and my computer has an ip of 192.168.168.100.

I have tried refreshing it multiple times with no luck.

I had it all working last night and I haven’t changed any settings apart from update the syncrolight software. Stupid me didn’t realise it updated at the back end of last year.

All the firewalls are off on my pc so I know it’s not that>

Any help would be amazing.

Kind Regards

Nathan

  Root element is missing
Posted by: dellboy - 02-03-2019, 05:23 PM - Forum: General - Replies (3)

Hi,
Any help would be grateful.
After doing some 'house keeping clean-up' on my computer, my previously running syncrolights software now displays 'Root element is missing' and will not work.  I have emptied the computers Recycle bin so I cannot reverse my previous actions.  I have tried reinstalling the software but to no avail. I am not a computer wizard, and was so grateful that the set up and use is so simple.  So please show some sympathy for me in your reply's.  Many thanks.  Hope this is the right place to visit for this type of help.
Regards
Dellboy.
