Is it possible to use the small dome pixel lights with this controller? And if so how as the controller is 7 to 24v and the lights are 5v.

  Show selector button usage.
Posted by: Pauls - 18-09-2020, 01:56 PM - Forum: General - Replies (2)

This may seem a really random question but with the show selector. When scrolling though the shows to select with the buttons if you keep pressing say the right button does it just keep going round? Ie when it gets to the last show in the list it then goes back to the first and so on or at the end of the list would you then need to press the left one to go back through them. Hope that makes sense.

So yesterday i started to add new controllers to the ones i already have, all went well no problems, tested with an updated show containing new controllers, everything working as it should, went back to it this morning to carry on updating new shows, nothing working, pc lead flashing as it should, controllers keep on flashing no matter what, show files and music in separate folders,  device manager says controlers not found and serial interface found, see pics and videos. working fine last two years, any help would be appreciated.

SP10 Show Player toggle mode without computer
Posted by: chriswcollett@gmail.com - 19-08-2020, 12:43 PM - Forum: General - Replies (1)

Hi. I do not seem to be able to toggle between the show on demand push button mode and the run shows continuously mode by pressing the red button?
The instructions say to power up the system and hold the button in until it flashes and the mode will have switched from one to the other but I have held the button in for minutes without it flashing. If I plug in my laptop,I can change modes no problem but I want to be able to do this without plugging in my laptop.
What am I doing wrong or missing?
Any help will be much appreciated, thank you.

Using 3 channel controller to run relays.
Posted by: Pauls - 14-08-2020, 09:16 AM - Forum: General - Replies (6)

Can I use the 3 channel controller to switch 3 relays? I know there will be a slight delay and they won't be on and off rapidly. It will be used to turn something on for a few mins then off again for 5 to 10 mins.

Heat from power supplies and controller's.
Posted by: Pauls - 01-03-2020, 07:28 PM - Forum: General - Replies (2)

So I'm in the throws of building my first display. I have built a control panel that will be situated in my shed. It's a closed control panel that will house 2 power supplies 2 8 channel controller's and a 3 channel one. I'm now considering that there could be quite a build up of heat in the panel. How hot do the power supplies and controller's get when in use? Thinking of maybe fitting a fan top and bottom to draw air through it but could these cause interference?

  Test Sequence
Posted by: cymglo - 30-11-2019, 05:45 PM - Forum: General - Replies (1)

In device manager I have used the test sequence on my 8-way controller which I have connected  8 led strings in some bushes. The test sequence would be perfect as part of my show, was hoping if anyone could tell me what the timings etc are as it doesn't seem to be random?

  DC08A one channel stuck on
Posted by: jonodarlo - 21-11-2019, 04:06 PM - Forum: General - Replies (3)

Hi all,
I have a DC08A fresh out the box and one channel is always on. It doesn't matter what I tell it to do, channel 4 is always lit.
All other channels behave as they are told.

Any troubleshooting ideas or is it likely a faulty controller?

Thanks
Jono
