So today I start putting up my display in the front garden. The same day SGN decide to start work on replacing the gas main (going on for 7 weeks), digging up and closing sections of the footpath. Not in front of my house yet, hoping they don't dig a hole right in front of my lights. Grrr

Bad form Gas Board, they just don't understand how much effort goes into Christmas lights!!!! Hope they move on quick past your house....
sometimes, life's a Gas mate!!!
Other times, you've gotta dig your way out of trouble!
Don't get stressed over it, have a few Beers and go with the flow.
Not a lot you can do about the Gas Board.
Next year you'll look back on this and laugh!
