In device manager I have used the test sequence on my 8-way controller which I have connected  8 led strings in some bushes. The test sequence would be perfect as part of my show, was hoping if anyone could tell me what the timings etc are as it doesn't seem to be random?

I think it is 100milliseconds between events.
If you are using the Show Designer you can replicate this by using the cycle effect (with Normal, Fill On then Fill Off types).
